I’ve been writing these newsletters every week for the past 3 months now. I have decided to take a break, till I figure out a structure for this endeavor that can be deemed to be better use of my time and efforts. I definitely still believe there is tremendous value addition possible - just not with my given expertise and in the current format.
It’s been great fun compiling these resources over the last 3 months. The small moments of joy I get when I read a good article or bookmark a twitter thread in the hope of revisiting it, appreciating it and posting it here for everyone to see has been a priceless ride. Onto the final piece then -

David Perell, in his latest newsletter talked about an interesting concept called “The Ease of Excellence". He observes that the experts in any field have internalized to a large degree the effort it takes to reach the top, so much so that the charming part of their demeanor comes from this very aspect. When you have expertise in a field and you truly enjoy doing it, the work will feel effortless.
Web 3.0 is starkly different from 2.0 in the way the database in handled in the web architecture. Conventional HTTP calls and front end - back end linkages as well as the DB-backend coupling have to be greatly reimagined. Another interesting aspect is the gas fees involved and the unique problem with smart contacts.
On the topic of Web and Web 3.0 - Tiger Feathers have their recent version of newsletter out and it is a simplination of the buzzword - yeah you guessed it right - Metaverse! But this is a very technical piece layered with some great millennial writing and truth bombs in between. A must read!
